that after the ban(hopefully it gets overturned) that if we stay in the big east that well be getting a lot of NY, NYC and other top recruits since the others are leaving and the recruits might want to stay local?

Nah.

Recruiting is basically national for schools like UConn, Syracuse and Pitt.

Syracuse might have one decent player from the city and Pitt has, I think, two. (Gibbs and the other short guard whose name escapes me.)
