Anyone Else worried about this game

What is the matter with you people?

I know I can't discuss the specifics of the game on this thread
But I just can't help thinking of Mississippi State at Albany a couple of season ago and then...

Biggest worry is that Huskies get beat up and slowed down for future NCAA run. USF never saw an elbow or hip check they didn't like to use.

We are up 14 at the half. On pace to win by close to 30. The big difference in the 1st Q and most of the 2nd is that we were unable to contain Jesperson. USF showing why they are a to 20 team. They DID beat the crap out of tOSU so they are no joke, but in general, we are a really bad matchup for them.

Well, sort of, who cares? If UConn loses, they'll still get an at large bid and a #1 seed in Albany. Conceivably, it might, just might knock them down to the #2 overall seed and a slightly tougher Elite 8 game. But then, once you get to the FF, the match-ups get so unpredictable that there's no way to game that ahead of time.

But, they are playing beautifully right now and Geno said they're moving the ball better.

It's Jose's European imports versus Geno's American born and made.

Seriously? Did your meds not arrive this week? ;) There are some teams that match up well with us (can't think of any) but this is one team that does not...

Not sure what you're worried about? Unless you just like to find something, then there's little sense in my trying to dissuade you.
We win by at least 15-20 and that includes subs in last quarter or so.
CHILL!!

I thought the same thing but... they beat the tar out of us in the 4th quarter.

Well, you were half right.

We won by 16, but that included a full 40 minutes of our best players.

Defense wins games, offense determines by how much. I think the way to slow the offense is no secret, but there's not much you can do about lock down defense.

The number of fouls was 11-11 and that’s insane!
BTW good game last night between BU/Texas so you were right. My lone satisfaction was Morris played great...

We should be celebrating the Bulls for finally giving UConn and the AAC a great Championship game. I for one am happy this game did not go the way of the Cinci game...and Laksa is one heck of a shooter.

Third game in three days after a long season. It's not unusual for Uconn to have a conference championship closer than expected. With about 10 days off before the first NCAA tournament games, there's plenty of time to rest and focus on winning the championship (hopefully).

As much talk there is here regarding our subs, why they are not playing minutes, USF only played 6 players last night. Four players with 40 minutes...same with their previous game with UCF.

You have to ask could have the effort, or the results of the effort vs USF yesterday, have been good enough to beat Louisville, ND, Baylor, Texas, South Carolina, MSU, tOSU, Maryland, Oregon, or Stanford?

I would think so, don't forget USF beat OSU, the Big 10 Champion by 19 points. I believe that USF should be one of the top 16 seeds. Four of the seven loses were to two top 5 teams, 3 to UConn and 1 to ND.

I think USF would go about 2-8 vs. those teams, and I haven't figured out which one, besides tOSU, they could beat.
