Anyone else watching Temple's Fullback

Given what is left on their schedule, looks like Temple will be playing for the AAC championship again.

Assuming, of course, they don't get #Diacoed. He has one each year, remember that.

No chance UConn can beat this Temple team.

Shirreffs will be lucky to get through this game.

Still only 2 score game though. These are pathetic announcers.

"I came back at Texas with less time ( 3 minutes) down 14".

Shut up Mack.

Temple appears to be coached to know how to run out a clock to end the game.

Must be nice.

It's not like this Temple team is some juggernaut. If it were in Philly, I would agree with you, but at the Rent UConn can absolutely beat them. It'll probably be a slugfest.

Temple isn't Bama 2.0 but they play every play hard, play all 60 minutes and have a coach who loves to win.

The kicker for Temple is a Frosh with a big leg.

He will be a big asset for Temple the next few years.
He's the backup kicker, Aaron Boumerhi. The kid who was the starter, Austin Jones, had an NCAA-best 17 in a row this season before getting hurt on a kickoff at Memphis and is now out for the season.

^^^^^this"^^^ ... a much faster team with a much better offense than last year.

Shut up Mack.

His Texas players always politely handed the ball to the referee after they scored--in his dreams!

That lost to Army.
If we played Army 1st game of year the way we played Maine not so sure would have beat them either. Just watching 2nd qtr. on of Temple/USF game and whether true or not, sure looked to me like Temple had better schemes against USF, runners for Temple had power/agility unlike UConn's duo, fullback blocked way, way better on runs than UConn's TE's and much more speed on Temple defense.
Additionally, Temple was beating USF without a host of turnovers. Last night they were the better coached team that had talent. I'd be very pleased if UConn can beat the Temple team that showed up yesterday.

true. can probably throw out the Temple loss to Army because they played their base (4-3) defense and did not do what Duke did last year and Buffalo did last year, load up 8 in the box and force Army to pass. Rhule has now admitted that was a mistake, but there are no do-overs in college football unless Temple plays Navy in the title game.
