Yeah, I'm a little nervous about our schedule having 4 P4's as well as James Madison (who is in the CFP). I just want 6 wins. We'll need to reload in the portal if that's going to happen.

The off-season is the off-season, there will be brief blips of excitement but there is gonna be very little coverage until spring practice and then summer camp.
BUT WE STILL HAVE A BOWL GAME THIS SEASON!!! Could be the 10th win of the year! I am not done enjoying this season’s ride.

Why the phobia about next year before this season is even over? Annoyed not at all here. We have a bowl game to play.

JMU will look quite different even beyond the G5 player attrition as Chesney is leaving as well. The only team on the schedule that I expect to be somewhat of a known entity is Maryland, otherwise all the teams including UConn will need to reload in the portal and look vastly different than they did in 2025.

Well not really. we open up against Lafayette who went 8-4… who didn’t play great against FBS - Bowling Green (4-8) and Oregon State (2-10).
It’s going to be aN awesome test for Candle.
I hope with how the schedule is laid out we can get great crowds at home games
