If you are nervous about these two rounds you may need a xanax. There is zero chance that UCONN loses in Bridgeport.
pretty much. Not sure what the men's tourney has to do with women's basketball. Depth of talent is far greater, and all of the early defections to the nba hurt the elite programs. Watch what happens to Kentucky. As much talent as they have, I bet they find a way to lose because of their youth.
PV A&M is a glorified scrimmage. K-State just isn't very good. They were a combined 1-6 against the three teams we played, the lone win being a two pointer at home against A&M. They are 19-13. They lost to Missouri. I suppose it's possible they could make it tougher than expected, but lose the game tougher? No.
Princeton, the other possible second round opponent, doesn't even have scholarship players. Do you remember what the uconn men's team did to Harvard this year, disappointing as they were? It would be even uglier on the women's side. UConn is not losing to an Ivy League school. If Delaware, DePaul, Stanford and Navy found a way to beat them, so will Geno.
UConn hasn't failed to make it to the Sweet 16 in 18 straight years. That streak isn't getting broken now.
