Any thoughts on Iowa ISU?

About a 6 or 7 point spread but though it would be closer to 10-11. Any reason to give State a chance of winning this game?
 
Not based on their performance last week. I hope Iowa State wins, it would add a lot of juice to next week's game.
 
  • A lot of negative ATS trends for Iowa St. They have covered 14 of 17 times against Big 10 but that must stretch back a decade at least.
  • Cyclones are 7-20 ATS in their last 27 games as an underdog of 3.5-10.0.
  • Cyclones are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games as a home underdog.
  • Cyclones are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 home games.
  • Cyclones are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games as a home underdog of 3.5-10.0.
  • Cyclones are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.
  • Cyclones are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games on grass.
 
I would expect they might well have a letdown after their rivalry game with Iowa today....whether they win or lose. It is on TV here...CSN, I think, at noon.
 
ISU going toe to toe with Iowa. They had a great opening drive right up until they botched a shotgun snap at the Iowa 6 yard line, and the Hawkeyes recovered. They're driving again, down 10-7. And the get a holding penalty negating a nice run that got them inside the 25 of Iowa.
 
10-10 at the half ISU has outplayed them so far. Come on Cyclones.

Our game against ISU is gonna be tough, they're a good team

Now they're up 17-16.
 
I read an article on-line that said that ISU has the nation's best punter. This is something the Huskies need to prepare for as well.
 
I'm impressed by their QB. Completing a high percentage of his passes, no picks, and has shown the ability to move around.

He is pretty good. Creates a lot of time for himself. Reminds me of a bigger version of Riley Skinner. ISU about to tie this game up.

Agree with that. He could be a pain in the neck for us next week. His receivers aren't bad either.

Iowa State has really impressed me this game. We should be in for a good one come Friday night. Hoping the Cyclones take this one.
 
Tie game, all created by the QB's wheels. Not super fast, just elusive. Oh, and he weighs 224.
 
ISU got a very nice QB. I hope they win so our boys will be riled up against them. Nice game atmosphere too. I hope they end up in the BE.

I'm impressed with Jantz and Iowa State....should make for a good game Friday! Thought Iowa State was gonna be a cupcake. Changed from the Rutgers/UNC game in favor of the Cy-Hawk Trophy game!
 
It was awesome to see State storm the Iowa sideline and nab that trophy....and it looks like they broke the new trophy. They should have broke the old ugly one....
 
Good for them! Jantz is gonna be a handful for our D. Friday night should be a battle.

Hopefully they come crashing down off the emotional high of a 3OT win against their state rivals and come out flat next week.
