@NHRJimFuller: 30,000 tickets have been sold for Saturday's #UConn/South Florida football game

I'm thinking we can get 34-35k by game time. For homecoming we should have a lot of walk up sales.

As long as they don't see the weather reports predicting low to mid 50's with 15-20 mile an hour winds, with higher gusts. Shhhhh.....:D

Okay, I'm relieved that 30K is the floor. If we can beat the Navy crowd, then it will continue the uptick in attendance as we continue to win games. Hoping we can get closer to 40K by season's end if those games are must-wins for bowl game eligibility.

ECU game, on a Friday night, should get us between 35-40K. If Huskies win this weekend it could be a HUGE one.

It is horrible. I am extremely disappointed in the Husky fanbase. We just had 33k for Navy - this is homecoming, off a nice win and a chance to get over .500 at the latest point in the season since the Fiesta Bowl season. Weather is solid, 58 degrees with 10% chance of rain. I'm not sure what else we can do, other than KEEP WINNING.
"Dean Woeemer, the keys to the city of Faber are yours."
Homecoming? Not really like it's on campus. Nice day forecast though.
Windy. Bobby P will be ready

wait....what...?

This.

Win games and the fans will come.

Get into a P5 conference and win games, and we'll have sellouts (or near sellouts) every game.

Need our students today. Really excited to hear that there will be two decks worth!
As someone with season tickets above the student section ton that was ...interesting news haha.

Anecdotal but the red lots closed way faster then they ever have. Got here at 9 and they just closed. Should be a good crowd.

Late arriving crowd. Press box side is emp-ty.

not in CT anymore but it would take me a big rival, unfortunately to make the money/time commitment as big of a fairweather fan as that sounds. I know we arent playing pitt/cuse/wvu ect anymore but....

No way there were 30k there today. Worst attendance of the year - fans in seats

Awful crowd today. No way was there 30k in the stands.

If you want the attendance to go up, you win a game like today's and increase the intrigue of a bowl possibility for the rest of the season. Now we will lucky to be above 30000 for the rest of the year with the increasing bad weather and decreasing chance of a bowl. Diaco knew afterwards how big a loss this was which is why he reportedly was so upset.

Success will help. But a cultural change will also be necessary. You need a generational fan base, a societal fan base and a passionate fan base. Currently UConn football lacks all three of these. And if UConn choses to rely on corporate donations you most likely will never get this type of fan base in those lower seats.
