This was discussed in another thread. Now that the Sun have cut Allison Hightower (who I thought would be her chief rival), it appears that the decision that the Sun must make today will be between Kelly and Jessica January, the rookie from DePaul. However, the Sun picked up another guard off waivers from another team, so that could be an additional possibility.
The decision has to be made today, so we should know by 5 PM.

She stands on the precipice. In the next 5 1/2 hours we'll know. Kelly has defied the odds for a number of seasons now. Best of luck to her no matter what.
For a kid just out of college, January's aggressive toughness has been impressive. I would hate to see her go also. With 12-player rosters, tons of really good players get waived.

How does the future look for Faris? Could she catch on with another team this season?
She was cut by an Australian team as well at one point.
Honestly, I am very surprised that Kelly has not become a star. She played beautifully for UConn, and she was a critical factor as a starter for great teams. Doesn't add up....
