UConn could announce its non-conference schedule within the next week or so, but don’t expect the Big East’s conference schedule to be announced anytime before about mid-September. There are still a lot of question marks regarding availability of arenas that also host NHL and NBA teams.

Some notes on LIU:

• Since Derek Kellogg has been coach, LIU has been top-50 in tempo for last four years.
• They have one the best frontcourts in the NEC with 6'7 240 Hofstra senior transfer Isaac Kante (12.9p, 10.1r, 56.2 fg%) and 6'7 185 senior Earl Penn (15.8p, 10.4r, 1.6b, 32.3 3p%).

Bonaventure’s Coach Schmidt gets better results from his 2* and 3* players than any other coach I know which makes me wonder why a bigger program has not offered him a boat load of money to leave Olean. 100% but he does love it there - I thought Pitt absolutely should have seriously considered...

I was surprised as well. I get impatient myself with this every year. Probably being held up by that game in Newark there seems to be a lot of smoke about.

I highly doubt any decent teams comes to CT this season OOC which is disappointing

Has to be my biggest complaint with Hurley. The staff doesn’t seem to concerned or aggressive when it comes to getting big time OOC games.

Do you mean home games specifically or any OOC games? I feel like the former is a valid complaint for next year but I don't really understand the latter. We've had a few big OOC games every year and will have the same next year

Home. As of right now I don’t believe they have any big home OOC games scheduled for the next few years. Hopefully they are working on it but I feel with the 20 game Big East schedule they won’t put much emphasis on it.

I do hope they try and schedule another Florida type home and and home for 2022, but we should have a big home game against a Big 12 school. We're traveling to West Virginia this year so I assume the following year we'd host. But not entirely sure how that works

Very fair criticism. Not taking a customer (fan) perspective in any business is a really bad idea.
