It’s been 2 years for me and I enjoy MB, Chicago and Vegas. Thinking about an Orlando plunge.

Anyone have recommendations for a solid relatively available other destination?

Never heard of this and just looked it up. They have a ton of locations worldwide.

Personally don't understand the appeal of Orlando as an adult. If I'm going to have to get on a plane anyways I'd take it a bit further and go to the Carribbean.

that’s why I drive to MB. And Vegas is Vegas

I’m not trying to pimp HGV, rather looking for destination suggestions from Bleed Blue

I was pitched a vacation club (heavy duty sales pressure) while on vacation at an all inclusive in Mexico once but I didn’t bite. Just wondering about the vacation clubs which seem to have succeeded time shares which have gotten such a bad rep over the years. The yearly annual maintenance or staying costs have no limit on how high they can go? Is that correct?
I see ads all the time for companies that market getting people out of time shares which people get stuck in.
How does a vacation club work number 1, and can you quit them any time you want?

If you’re going to use it every year, they can be worth it. Ours was x amount of points every year and weren’t tied to specific weeks, just some weeks cost more points than others at the various resorts. We slowed down the trips once we had a kid and with two kids we didn’t use them at all. While the contracts are a bit of a ’blood in, blood out’ situation, with enough persistence, patience and passive/aggressive email exchanges, you can get out. Looking back, I wouldn’t do it again though.
