Assistants and players. Players number is much smaller. Only 3, iirc.SNY is great at putting up our streaks that are in jeopardy when UCONN has a close game in the 4th qtr. Last game, who knew Geno was 76-0 against playing teams coached by former players.

Here is 93-94:This ranked streak: I do not know how they count the weeks but I would make a small
wager that we have been ranked since early in the 1993-1994 season. Entering that season we were
coming off those 2 consecutive losses...one in the BE tourney and then a first round loss in the NCAAs
to Louisville...maybe starting the next season unranked. When Carla and Kara came as frosh in the 1993-1994 season we immediately began to win a lot...and our
ranking jumped...wound up losing in the final 8 to North Carolina...eventually champ.
From that year on...we were established as very good team [at least 'very good'] before the season started and went deep into the
tournament every year. So...I think our rankings would go back around 28 years.
PV: maybe they only count the weeks during the active basketball season? If so...that would be
roughly 24 weeks a year....which would translate to around 23 years straight of being ranked.
That would take us back to the late 1990's.
I can't remember which team it was but I believe after our 1993 back to back loss, the second best was 2019.I honk the non-consecutive losses record may be the most impressive record of all. I’d be interested in knowing the second place number.

Apparently, I’m a gander and didn’t realize it!I honk the non-consecutive losses record may be the most impressive record of all. I’d be interested in knowing the second place number.
1067 games without back-to-back losses has to be the most bizarre record in all of sports. Other records are unbeatable, but for bizarre, this takes the cake.I honk the non-consecutive losses record may be the most impressive record of all. I’d be interested in knowing the second place number.
They showed that graphic during the Princeton game and SoCar was in 2019. But the graphic only had teams in the top 10 (or 25) of the current rankings.I can't remember which team it was but I believe after our 1993 back to back loss, the second best was 2019.
Ralph, Berube, BanghartIt will be a shame and heartbreaking for Uconn when Geno finally retires because Chris Daley will retire with him. IN 3OR 4 MORE YEARS. Then Uconn will have to look for his replacement. Any suggestions?? GO HUSKIES!!!
I doubt Ralph or Berube want the job.Ralph, Berube, Banghart
