Another program opts out of the remainder of the season as more games are canceled or postponed

The new year ushers in more COVID-19 challenges for WCBB teams. Everyday, games are canceled or postponed because of the pandemic. Having begun the season with 3 games canceled (Quinnipiac, Maine/Miss St and Louisville) and 1 postponed (Seton Hall), let's hope UConn is able to navigate the remainder of the season without any more disruptions. The games below are but a small sampling of the totality of games canceled/postponed. I wrote a comment last week saying that I don't look past the next game on our schedule, it may not come, and it may not be UConn's fault. Nine games scheduled for tonight (12/31) have been canceled or postponed. ​

Hoped this wouldn't happen. Unfortunately, all the travel and social gathering over Christmas and New Years are going to ramp it up.
