Jonas was awful in the first time trial. It was the mountain time trial (after Tadej already scorched him the day before in a mountain-top finish) that Jonas was good but lost yet another minute. Then the "hope Tadej forgets to eat" strategy and "hope Tadej gets bored and does something foolish" strategies failed to work.

The last stage created tons of buzz. Unless there is a crash we will never see another boring sprint stage to finish the Tour again.

There is no gradual increase. After the year is up it goes $11 per month.
 
So for someone who missed the great deal, I should just chill until I see a new BY thread showing a new deal?

Cable is strange. I called cause CPTV though listed as a channel that was free to me wasn't coming in. Called and they said it's no longer on the air but while I was holding offered to reduce my bill by $33 a month for 12 months. Also added Peacock. I never said a word about the cost of the monthly package.

I'm not paying for something for a year which I would only use to watch UConn games. Besides I have cable, and the internet I have Netflix and I am a subscriber to Storrs Central. I'm not letting the networks own me, technology owns us enough as it is.

This is so bush league. I am watching since I have Peacock. Yesterday's stage 16, they called an audible near the end of the race so that it ended with 8 km remaining which would have been the start to the climb finish. Protesters ruined the end of the race. Riders are trying to compete with different strategies and goals and the early finish ruined it all.

The other day a protester tried to run in front of the peleton and he tripped, but 2 riders still crashed. Another earlier stage 11 was cut short with no stage winner declared because of protests while Jonas Vingegaard wearing red was competing for the stage win. It seems way too dangerous to even hold the race if they can't secure the crowds.

"We decided that if there is an incident, we would try to neutralize the race and then that would be it because in the end racing to an undefined finish line is not really fair sport," Bahrain - Victorious' Jack Haig said

Last year someone posted here it was 1.99 a month or something for 6 months which exactly fit the season in so I grabbed it, set an outlook reminder to cancel it before it renewed, and it worked out great. I'll see if something like that comes along I suppose. I have too much TV already with Prime, Hulu + live, and Netflix and would have already cancelled Netflix if my daughter wasn't so into some programs on there.
 
I have had peacock for like 6-7 years now for free… I got it initially as a free add on that was a part of my Xfinity internet, and when I changed internet providers, they never canceled my peacock subscription lol. Watch them hunt me down in 10 years saying I owe thousands of dollars…
