Another one bites the dust (merged)

TCU is beginning to look like a top ten team! The question is, can Sedona Prince remain healthy? She had 20 & 20 today and is backed by the surprisingly good play from Hailey Van Lith and their other high scorer Madison Conner. Geno will get some good film from this game, I hope.

When in high school Van Lith was ranked just behind Paige and Clark. She was at the wrong school last season.

Wow Sedona Prince with 20&20, and 8 blocks. I didn’t see the game but it Looks like ND went right at her and lost! Queue the Size Matters comments for Nan

Koval fouled out and Hidalgo had four against her, while going to the stripe 10 times. Will try to find this one replay
 
When Koval went out with her 4th foul the lane parted like the Red Sea. Van Lith with several drives to the hoop. With a premier shot blocker in Prince the TCU defense came up with some stops that turned the game around.

Just like how much Aubrey Griffin is missed by UCONN, Maddy Westbeld is missed even more by Notre Dame. Getting her back and into the rotation will be key in ND's National Championship aspirations.

Exactly, and you forgot her EIGHT blocks…you mean height matters?:eek:

Just watched the game on replay. ND was up by double digits at the end of 3 quarters and lost by double digits in the end! Tough way to go out.

We get to play them soon. Maybe some of their injured players will be back in action by then. I hope we win, nevertheless.

Huh? ND beat SoCal, and SoCal had the All-American post player.

I think Gottlieb has obviously shown her ability as a recruiter recently, but at least so far, early in this season, the whole has not been as good as the sum of the parts. That may change, but her coaching ability with a ton of talent is still an unanswered question IMO.
