I still don't get constant Hartford bashing. I'm going out in Hartford on Friday night. It will be at least my tenth time in a month, seven different venues. Hartford avoiders are missing out.

Missing out would mean that we couldn't get the same deal/experience somewhere else. Where have you been going?
 
XL Center, Bushnell, Infinity Hall, Wadsworth, Theater Works, Real Art Ways and Cinestudio. Those experinces are pretty much unique to Hartford in Hartford County. When's Richard Dreyfuss appearing at Playhouse on Park?

You got me there. Those are experiences unique to Hartford. Not sure I'd go to 5 of them on any given night, but you're right.

Interesting comments from the Mayor about West Hartford in this article. "We're tied together, like it or not," he told a crowd at West Hartford Town Hall. "It's in your interest to have a strong city. You can't be a suburb of nowhere. It just doesn't work that way."

Does West Hartford REALLY care if Hartford sinks or swims?

Yeah West Hartford has to care considering they will be probably paying Hartford's water bill. So will the other MDC towns.

Maybe...but if more restaurants close in Hartford, or Front Street flops or the XL Center isn't renovated, does that really mean those businesses/employees will move out of town? As it is, the place is crickets at 5:01.
 
Replace "Chicago" with "Hartford". Not difficult.

Does fair market value mean the value when you buy a piece of property? Or does the value go according to what you are going to do to the property?

It seems very subjective.

Oh, I get it now. If I go to the linked fake article, then replace Chicago with Hartford in my head, of course, then it becomes funny. Keep these gems comin', Dove.
