Another coach gone... Rhode Island

I have always liked Coach Inglese, however, success evaded her at Rhode Island. I don't know what the problem was, she said some nice things about the support, but who knows how much there truly was.

I've always had great admiration for Cathy Inglese as a woman's coach. She recruited well when at B.C. & it was a team to contend with, once winning the Big East tounament. With B.C. going to the ACC , the AD cut back on the woman program & it rapidly went downhill after that. I always felt she got the short end of the stick by B.C. Rhode Island just does not have the 'buck's'. Very high unemloyment state whose governor leaves a lot to be desired !

She got a five year run and ended with a terrible record there 16-41 so I don't think this was unexpected. Strange that she was unable to do anything having been fairly successful everywhere else she went.
