A cat died at seven years old? That seems fairly young for a cat. That would calculate out to 1.2857 lives per year! Perhaps there will be an investigation , or at minimum a study done to determine the stress of "grumpiness" on cats and its effect on longevity. And what role social media played in his/her demise. Is there some medical connection to just how "viral" a meme can be? Maybe ASPCA and AARP can co-sponsor such a query.

I believe that "Grumpy" was the perfect poster child for all cats. His countenance was the visual reflection of the demeanor and attitude of every cat everywhere. That being the disgust displayed by a superior being having to live among riff-raff scum.
