The other guys will have skewed averages because they won't play every game.

78 ppg would make me quite happy. Larrier and adams are probably too high imo.

I don't see Vital as a major scorer and would love to be wrong. 73 ppg.

We average just over 69 (nice) ppg in Ollie's 5 years. Highest was 15-16 at 73.1 ppg. I'd expect to be in that 68-72 range yet again unless offensive principles have changed, but I doubt it.

Terry/Jalen: 15
Vital: 9
Alterique: 8
Anderson: 6
Mamadou: 5
Cobb: 4
Other 5 guys*: not much but give us energy, defense and boards. Of the 5 I think Kwintin has the most potential to be a sleeper for us offensively. Brimah scored primarily off lobs, and kwintin can quite literally jump through the roof so if he can get on the court, he'll score a little.

* 5 bc I don't think Wilson gets cleared by NCAA.

Ramainder 4-6 a game
I think if we could some how get to 75 a game we would be alright. If we stay around 70 could mean trouble

Just curious, why is this?
I love his effort and Vital will get his minutes. Just don't think he is as good a basketball player as many others. He'll contribute for sure but don't see him averaging double digits or close to it especially with Gilbert and Larrier back.
As I said I'd love to be wrong because Vital has an outstanding work ethic and attitude. My prediction for him is 4-5 ppg.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but the kid is gonna play upwards of 25 mpg, and is a sniper, he's gonna make more that 2 baskets a game. I expect similar numbers to last year because of more scoring options.

Wow, well I respect the opinion. I'd honestly be surprised if he finishes any worse than 3rd in scoring on the team. Wouldn't surprise me if he finished 2nd in scoring behind only Adams. I think Vital averages 11 on the low end and 14 or 15 on the high end. We will see.

Haven't you heard Vital wasn't a top 100 recruit? He sucks! Honestly, I think with JA and AG on the floor he's going to get at least a handful of open looks every game. It wouldn't surprise me if Vital averaged three made 3's per game, so I do think he is good for 10-12 points per game.

Vital averaged 9 ppg last year in 28 minutes including scoring into double figures in 7 of the last 10 games of the regular season and all three conference tournament games. He does a lot of little but important things like scrap for loose balls and get steals but he is primarily a scorer. I would expect a slight improvement in that 9 ppg at minimum. By default there will be more mouths to feed this year assuming everyone stays healthy but I think he is going to be better than most think.

My prediction:
Adams 15
Larrier 13
Vital 13
Gilbert 12
Williams 7
Anderson 6
Diarra 5
Cobb 5
Polley 4
Carlton 3
Onuorah 1
Whaley 1

Comes out to 85 PPG, which is high, but it's only a prediction.

I won't be too far off from yours, but I don't expect them to average more than 75/game. That's still a pretty good jump from last year's 67 pts/game. While KW will be fun to watch, I'll be (happily) surprised if he gets much run behind Larrier. And I don't expect a lot from the frosh as it'll be hard for the bigs to stay on the court because of fouls and/or defense.

Adams 17
Larrier 14
Gilbert 12
Vital 11
Onuorah 6
Anderson 5
Cobb 4
Williams 3
Polley 2

I'm just gonna go top 7 because I have no idea how the bottom half of the roster will turn out so:

JA: 18
Larrier: 14
AG: 12
CV: 10
Sid (Wishful thinking): 8
Anderson: 5
Cobb: 5

If Gilbert is fully healthy I expect him to be our third leading scorer.

Adams 15
Larrier 15
Gilbert 11
Vital 9

Who the hell knows after that.

I think a lot will depend on if we can rebound and get out and run in transition. I think everyone would agree our half court sets with heaving a 3 at the end of the shot clock hasn't been working. Maybe it will change with new players.
