Doesn’t get much better than Kevin Harlan calling the NCAAT games.

That's the only person who still does games that I think is untouchable. When he's doing a game, any game, it feels bigger... but i still don't pay attention to what he says.

Mike Crispino was going nuts in the first five minutes of the Zags game. Nothing better than listening to a run

On the TV side, I did not enjoy Shulman/Bilas this year. I love when we get Fanta. I'm also a sucker for Tim Brando "How do you do?!"

Raftery is the Cadillac. Jim Jackson and Fanta are decent. Donnie is hard to listen to. I could not stand to listen to Dickie V. Billy Packer did a decent job and Bill Walton (RIP) was insufferable.

Talking about Raftery:
Something about an older guy who used to coach, who has a Jersey or whatever accent, who knows the X's and O's, but also has some homey stories about other coaches.

To me, it's about the persona. He has an affable personality and jokes around with his co-announcer. I find it entertaining.

Not comparing him to Gillen, but I like Gillen too.

Gillen's voice reminds me of someone very dear to my heart. Everytime I hear that accent I'm reminded of a G.O.A.T ....strange.

Forever immortalized for calling the 30-0 run. He has a great feel for calling a game. During the run, right after the Clingan block it was simply "Spencer...Castle...Clingan!" as Donovan hammers home the dunk. Harlan's a real pro.
