Andy Katz's Top 10 Clutch Players Since 2011

Hate to say it, but the tripper should probably be on the list.

jenkins at 2 is too high for just one shot.

Was thinking same thing, but really didn't follow him throughout his entire career. One of the brighter parts of having no sports have been that a lot of people are making a lot of these types of lists which I have really enjoyed.

Man this is BS

Jenkins for one shot while Bazz tore hearts out from the top of the arc round after round

And Guy for hitting free throws lmao maybe the entire 2014 team should be on this list then

Katz is better than this but maybe he just didn’t want to put Kemba and Bazz 1 and 2

Kemba is #1 on this list because Arizona's Jamelle Horne is not on it. I can watch replays of the end of the 2011 West Region Finals 10 times, and it still looks like Horne's 3 is going in.

Those Guy free throws were the toughest free throws I ever remember seeing. And key 3 pointers. Rewatch Virginias last three games in that tourney. The most ridiculous 3 games in a row to win a title..

Kyle Guy hit free throws 99.99999999% of college kids would miss. He should absolutely be on this list

Did I say the kid doesn’t belong on the list?

Don’t take this too seriously I was just talking mild crap about the list just because I felt like joking

I think the more fun conversation is who was left off and should be on there. Trey Burke is the one for me

Wasn’t Jimmer clutch?

I’d say Kemba and Bazz could be argued 1/2 but they’d never put them both at the top.

you said the list was BS and then you mentioned and laughed at Kyle Guy specifically so yeah

This list should realistically be:

1. Kemba

No one deserves to be labeled #2-#9 because Kemba is far and away more clutch than them all. He deserves his own list.

10. Shabazz.

Shabazz hit a TON of big shots. I think they're darn close. I can think of 10 shots off the top of my head, he's up there.

1st half, with a 6 point lead. Somebody getting awfully lax with the definition of clutch.
Nova won by 20+. Miami was a very good team. Clock was running out - that shot blew the game open. Clutch doesn’t have to be a buzzer beater, but in this case it was a shot clock buzzer beater.

This just counters the notion that although Kris’ winner against UNC was the biggest shot in NCAA history, it was only one clutch shot. Kris actually had a great tournament.

Doron Lamb? I'm sure he did something but I can't remember one shot
KY won in 2012 and Doron had some good tourney games but that team was all about Anthony Davis and we got the better Lamb for sure.

Damn our 2012 underperformed royally...Bazz, Lamb, Drummond, AO, Giff, Boat, Daniels, etc

2 titles in 4 years so can't complain but should have made a run in 2012 to AD vs AD showdown but wasn't meant to be.
