Fingers crossed that the NCAA decides he's been punished enough(!fricken ncaa) and realize this is only a PR nightmare for them - national TV tomorrow will be brutal on the NCAA imho.

I saw this too. Idk how serious the talks could be. My guess is Boatright will still be on the bench come gametime. We are not that lucky

I'd imagine if they're talking today, on a day off, then that means this situation is close to a resolution, and if he doesn't play tomorrow, he should be ready for the next game. That's what I take out of it, anyway.

NCAA is starting to take some incoming PR fire. And there are a couple of very unfavorable stories being ready to be dumped on them. Of course, the incoming fire doesn't come from ESPN or CBS for commercial reasons.
It really has very little to do with the merits/or lack of merits on the case itself.
