If AEH decides to grad transfer to a big east school, her former h.s. teammate just might do a little peanut on a wool sock type of defense on her. :) Fun to watch.

My take, I thought Andi was a much better player than she showed at MSST. Vic stressed toughness and inside points, that was not Andi. It was my hope the coaching change would be more receptive to outside shooting than Vic and Andi could show her game. Guess that will not happen, I hope she transfers to a team, like Marquette, where she can shine. GOOD LUCK, ANDI!

AEH led USA basketball U16 team in FG attempts in 2015 shooting a whopping 28%.
AEH left UCONN after playing in 7 games shooting a remarkable 38.5 percent.
AEH will be leaving Mississippi State as a 40.5 percent shooter. These are not 3PFG percentages these are actually shooting (or not) percentages. Even if Nikki was going to be responsive to "outside" shooting Andi was not going to be the one delivering it. Marquette for AEH is not a good idea unless she want to ride the pine. AEH reputation as a "shooter" is ill conceived and largely inaccurate.

Look at #3 on the list of most 3 pt fg's attempted from last season. Mild Climate, Chopped BBQ, and a chance to start and average double figures without having to be tremendous on the defensive side of the ball..... come on down to Tobacco Road.

I see your point. However I think the issue wasn’t her three point shooting ability but instead her inability to get off her three point shot quickly.
Her sophomore year when MSU had T McCowan and A Howard she shot 42% from outside (68-161). Of course everyone was doubling and sometimes tripling T McCowan in the post. A Howard also drew a lot of attention. Therefore she had much more time.
After they departed her percentage dropped to 26%. I’m sure teams had more tape on her but she also had less time to set up.

For AEH, shooting percentage and 3pt % are nearly identical.

True. Neither her FG% nor her 3Pt% justifies this "reputation" of being a great, good or barely above average shooter. BTW shooting was not what kept her off the floor for Mississippi State she was defensively indifferent a major liability.

I would love to see her at DePaul. She would shine in a Doug Bruno offense IMHO.

Syracuse would be good spot for her. They are a more shooting oriented team, she’d be closer to home and they have some new talent.

Mangakahia is back and Cardosa could be a different type of big for them.

Yea good thing Q won't care how many 3Pt misses AEH has either. I never understood that philosophy and people think I'm joking when I say Q hurts my basketball brain.

I thought she was a good player at State and also that her defense improved tremendously in the two years she was here. I wish her well wherever she winds up and she has the talent to help a team be better.

She was a liability often times defensively despite improving a lot, she doesn't rebound very much, she isn't a creator, manufacturing assists/scoring opportunities for her teammate. her best attribute is her shooting although she never took advantage of opportunities when they presented themselves last year which is why she rode the bench most of the time. IMO she was passed up on the depth chart and would likely struggle for significant minutes this coming year. Her first year at MSU was the perfect storm for her with McCowan and AH inside which allowed her to thrive as a spot up shooter. She didn't have that luxury this year and it required her expand other aspects of her game in order to stay on the floor, she couldn't do that.

With all that said, she seemed like a great teammate by all accounts and supported her teammates constantly even when she wasn't playing. Best of luck to her, I wouldn't anticipate her coming back though.
