We have an excellent opportunity to end the year on a positive note! ECU walloped Cincy 48-20 yesterday. A final game win for the seniors, underclassmen, coaches, and of course the fans. It's the only way to get this lousy taste out of our mouths!

But, this is the week. I can really feel it.

It will be extremely disheartening if we go to hapless Cincinnati and put on another abysmal defensive performance causing us to lose our last chance at improving our record from last year. Crocker has to find a way to hold this team under 30.

Cincy's offense is ranked 100th. We held both Tulsa (37th) and Temple (79th) under 30 so it can be done. Let's DO it!

And how is this post inaccurate. The improvment of UConn's football program - if it is to happen at all - rests in the hands of athletes currently in high school and middle school. The players on this team are glorified FCS caliber.

I don't deny our defense has sucked, but our "improved" offense put up 3 points thru 3 quarters yesterday, and gave up the pick-6.

We need BOTH sides of the ball to be productive to beat Cincy.
