UConn still hasn't lost in regulation since 2013

Geno falls to 11-8 in national semis

Sloppiest game since MSU last year. Need to get tougher games in season.

They did have a few tough games, including one against this very ND team.

Maybe Geno is right - maybe they really did need to lose at some point in the regular season as he said last year, odd as it sounds. Fall into a nadir and build back up.

Which means Kia and Gabby lost 2 OT games their entire career.

Alternatively, you could have said, "although losing to ND in the semis, Geno still has been to a record 19 final fours in which he has an 11-8 winning record."
Harsh response.

Oh my lord get a grip. Read a sports writeup someday. 99% of the time, it will say team X falls to W-L.

You're not a sports write up. You're a fan ripping a coach who has given you more than you seem to deserve.

This whole overtime thing has become some kind of cruel joke.

Playing in OT must be a curse for UCONN. Sad to say all 3 losses in Kia and Gabby's careers (148-3) were in OT.

Look what it takes to beat us. Overtime’s and last second shots. We was down and out twice and came back to give us a chance. Nothing is wrong with Uconn. Geno and company will be back regardless of their schedule. Great game other teams want to win also. So the only thing I’m heartbroken about is having to wait until next season.
Can’t win them all other teams want to win to. We are still the best basketball program and always will be. Every since 2000 all UConn players have at least 2 or more rings

UConn caught a big break getting this game to OT. Nurse took four steps before the made layup at end of regulation.

That's BS.

That's BS.

Gabby Williams was knocked down and no foul called late near end of game that would have won the Game
Sister Jean now Notre Dame

The close wins over Notre Dame and Texas, as it turned out, had no impact on UConn's future ability to win a close game when it really mattered.
Just curious, when was the last time UConn won a game with a buzzer beater? Feels like it's been a while.

Tougher blue collar type players wouldn't hurt either.
I think we had the blue-collar element in spades with our two seniors this year. But if you mean mental toughness, the ability to deal with all the pressure of living up to the crazy expectations that come with this program, then yeah.

Since 2010*

There were no titles from 2005-2008, so the classes of 2007, 2008, and 2009 only took home one or 0.
