He does stink by any standard other than a few decent runs. His third down conversion rate was really bad. His passing was poor - just because our opponent was really bad - let that not cloud us from reality.

I don't think he is great. I don't expect him to be the starter for two more years. But after Whitmer / Boyle? He is a HUGE upgrade.

That being said, the OL isn't great and our receivers can't get open and drop the ball a lot.

They played in a monsoon. No one on Tulsa could throw or catch the ball. And no one on UConn could catch the ball. But we want to talk about our QB not being able to throw? Grow tf up.

Our QB has had the best year a UConn QB has had since at least '07. And is certainly not the thing holding this team back.

2009 Zach was better than 2010 zach. Only because of Easley. He was inaccurate, but managed the game well. Those were also very experienced teams.
