This thing is still rattling around the Internet

Nice article, Thanks for posting, I knew the name, but it was nice to get the full background on Chris Gedney. it seems she is a fine all-round person, who is very accomplished off the court. I loved the comment "glad the WNBA exists or I would not get to watch Sue Bird play".

Great post, love this quote.....
Whenever my Mom comes to the house to see a game, she arrives in her UCONN sweats and kuzzie cup for her beer. They still have the fever!”
A tip of my UConn cap and a toast with a cold one in a kuzzie to Chris and her mom!

A little more on Chris Gedney. After retiring from the Air Force, she earned a PhD in Social Work at the University of Utah in 2017. She currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor at Arizona State and Grand Canyon Universities. Apparently, Chris Gedney doesn’t know the meaning of, “relax and take it easy.”

Great story! I knew the name but it's always nice to see the experience in her own words. Thanks Nan for posting!
