Hopefully not stepping on toes here. It was too good not to share. I can't make it look normal ??? but "push the button" and it will take you there. Quirk of site work?

incredible to watch

it's impossible to ignore p's unique skills in the clips ... but it also has me dreading that injuries could take them away from us fans (and already have) ... that's would be (and is) so sad

it's clear that she's worked to get her body in superb condition over the years, at least, so we'll have the best chance of seeing her continuing her magic. i'd love that because i truly appreciate great artistry.

The potential for injury is always there, particularly in the W where star players seem to be in short supply right now due to a rash of injuries. My hope is that Paige gets through the season relatively unscathed and then spends the next 5-6 months resting and rehabbing her body for next season in the W along with Unrivaled. I sincerely hope she does not elect to play overseas.

On a side note, I think it was a good thing that the Wings kept Paige out of the game with the Liberty the other night. She could have played after tweaking her back in the previous game, but the Wings are going nowhere this season so every effort should be focused on keeping their franchise player healthy for next season.

Paige (compared to others) seems to avoid contact as much as possible
Whether or not that prevents major injury is a question

Her handle and her ability to elevate almost instantaneously seems a "cut above."
In the video, she always sees to have a plan...sometimes, plan B or even C is required...no problemo.

Her game is both instinctive and brainy...always aware of when her prowess can give her that
split-second to get off a deadly shot.

The W may learn how to defend her...eventually...and future players may emulate her moves
but for now...this is a unique approach to getting open for reasonable scoring opportunities.

Injuries are not always the result of contact with other players. I think sharp cuts, sudden stops, step-back jump shots all take a toll on tendons and joints. A fall or a collision may occasion an injury, but the root causes may be much older. It's not just Paige. All the great ones, the ones who have such striking moves on offense and defense seem to me to be at greater risk of injury than other players. They are great because they push the limits of their bodies harder.

Looking good! (and all grown up)
