Randomly looking at YouTube feeds, I came across a synopsis of a 1998 Italian film titled The Second Wife. One of the main actresses is Jessica Auriemma.
Unfortunately information online about her is really scant. I was hoping biographical tidbits might hint whether she is related to Geno but no luck.
According to a site called the Names Encyclopedia, there are fewer than 2,000 families with that name found in 13 countries, primarily in Italy followed by the United States.
So it’s not a particularly common name so maybe - if, of course, that’s her birth name and not a stage one.
Last, Gene’s surname translate into “gold gem” and I think we can agree that his coaching prowess fits that description perfectly.
