I was thinking about a post presence . Must be a good big man out there in the JC ranks that could help us next year. More guards make me suspect something is going on that we may not know about. We need the Boat and Shabazz to stick around another year in the worst way. If they do with a little luck and improvement from some we could be pretty good next year.

Really? That would be such a mistake, probably for both, but especially for Boatright. Hopefully there will be some frank discussions at the end of the year with those two guys.

Neither would be in the first round, or so, this year. Of course, next year looks deeper overall.

PG prospects ahead of Boatright/Napier:
  1. Michael Carter-Williams
  2. CJ McCollum
  3. Trey Burke
  4. Marcus Smart
  5. Phil Pressey
  6. Lorenzo Brown
I doubt more than 5 teams take a PG in the first round. From the bottom:
  1. Washington (Wall)
  2. Cleveland (Irving)
  3. Charlotte (Walker)
  4. New Orleans (Vasquez is OK)
  5. Phoenix (Dragic)
  6. Orlando (Possible, they need a young PG but they need a lot of pieces and Nelson is still OK) I can't imagine they wouldn't take Goodwin or Poythress or Austin over any PG in this draft
  7. Sacramento (Very possible, but they need everything but a center a PG would be a reach here) See Orlando
  8. Detroit (Knight, ugh)
  9. Toronto (Lowry)
  10. Dallas (Collison)
  11. Philadelphia (Holiday)
  12. Lakers (Yes, but they could use a young PG, SG, SF and PF) CJ McCollum would fit
  13. Minnesota (Rubio)
  14. Utah (God yes) MCW would be a great fit
  15. Boston (Rondo)
  16. Milwaukee (Jennings)
  17. Denver (Lawson)
  18. Portland (Lilliard)
  19. Brooklyn (Williams)
  20. Chicago (Rose)
  21. Houston (Lin)
  22. Atlanta (Teague)
  23. Indiana (Hansborough, just kidding, Hill)
  24. Golden State (Curry)
  25. New York (Felton is 28, but I say yes) Burke?
  26. Miami (Yes) Marcus Smart?
  27. Memphis (Conley)
  28. San Antonio (Maybe) Pressey backing up Tony Parker
  29. OKC (Westbrook)
  30. Clippers (Paul/Bledsoe)

Wow that is shocking. I don't get what the rush is in either case. Neither are probably going to get guaranteed money. Both to me look like they are going to have to make the NBA through the D league to fight for a spot on someones roster.

Give me Jorgenson now! That kid is a ball player, really like his game and seems like he would fit in nicely here.
