Not one Huskies made the team?
It does not look like it. I looked up the roster, and it lists the "finalists". 13 players, but no one from UCONN. Does the team have 13 players, or 12? Does 1 need to be cut still? I'm guessing the UCONN players who were eligible opted to do other things this summer...

Aaliyah is still a possibility for the Canadian team. They're completing their try outs too.

Hopefully there will be an update on their roster soon. Keep the faith. A Huskie may be there after all. ;)

Should be fun to see how the young talent on the USA team goes up against more experienced professionals. Not necessarily a typical US juggernaut. Though the team will play 7 games in 8 days barring a quarter-final loss, might need 13 players.

Games on ESPN+ in the United States. I was hoping they would get some games on TV, even if only ESPN Deportes, but no luck there.

To the degree you east coasters are interested, it's striking that Haley Jones is the only player named to the team who hails from the Pacific or Mountain times zones (and Sedona Prince is the only other player from west of the Mississippi River). Not saying there's east coast media bias, but that does tell you something about the recruiting challenges out west.

Speaking of which, NaLyssa Smith could not make it to the last camp so they named the other 12 as the final roster:

Christyn if she had been invited or decided to attend would have probably made the team. I don't think Olivia has enough offense to make the team.

Does anyone know if they stream or replay these games on youtube around the time of the event?

Two summers ago, ONO was the only college player on a team of pros that USAB sent to the AmeriCup. I’d imagine the powers that be think she can hold her own.

The Canadian games will be on DAZN. Thought I read somewhere in this thread that US games will be on ESPN+. Not sure about YouTube for this tournament.

Canada v USA for the championship. Canada missing some WNBA players but still has some experienced pros with international experience.

Rosters posted by FIBA.

Canada (Aaliyah listed as a Forward):

USA's roster at the FIBA site lists all invitees not the final 12 which is here:

All the Canadian Press releases listed her at guard again today. In any case, Canada runs a different offence. Her role will be revealed in the AmeriCup.

Well, Columbia beats US Virgin Islands 72-60 but one of the stranger half court shots was made at the end of the 1st Q to put Columbia up 18-12. A Mix of Paige Bueckers shot against SC and Kawhi's multibounce win shot to take out Philly (but from half court)
