American scheduling

Just noticed that we play 8 teams home and home and 2 teams only once Houston home and UCF away. I hadn't realized we had an unbalanced schedule this year in the American - anybody know what the formula is? And will the teams rotate each year - seems unfair to most teams given Uconn's likely dominance that two teams have to pencil in only a single loss to us.

Personally I wish they had worked it out so we only played 6 teams H & H and had 4 teams as singles - that would give us two more slots for OOC games.

No conference schedule should have more than 16 games, IMO. Even 14 would do in many cases. Not a fan of an 18 game conference schedule at all, even if it's one the size of the old Big East.

I think it's the reverse of the Mens schedule...they only play UCF home and Houston away.
