Julien Campenni should be a first teamer, and if we had any sort of offensive production, and not been playing on short fields all season long, the defense would have had a chance to rest once in awhile and our DL would have been dominant. Can't believe he's not even on the list.

I hope it's really good motivation for the big guy to come back next year and dominate.

The only snubs I can think of:

Campenni belongs on the 1st or 2nd team
Vann should be at least an honorable mention
Jones, irregardless of being hurt later in the season, should be mentioned somewhere

UConn is the only conference team without representation on 1st, 2nd, hon. mention teams.

Was this in the plan Bob? Part of the process? Or are You absolved from any of this because of what you walked in to a year ago?

Gddamn it I'm grumpy as hell since experiencing this season. F everything.

Pretty sad state of affairs when we don't have one player on the first, second, or honorable mention teams.

and to be fair, it's like being called the top turd in the turd pile.

So we're allowed to try to forget that we're in this conference but we get pissed when others actually do forget? Tough crowd.

Maybe it's a sign that we are about to leave the AAC!

.-.
In Phil Steele's preseason All-AAC teams, UConn only had 3 players: Davis 1st team offense, Jones 2nd team defense, Mateas 4th team offense. Since Davis and Jones were injured and the OL was so bad at the start of the year, it's not a surprise that UConn didn't place anyone on the post season teams.

FWIW there are more pressing things to blame Diaco for than this.
