Am I the only one watching this game?

That aged well. Great throw, great catch.
I mean in fairness, he underthrew his receiver on a free play where he could just let it rip with no downside. I’m not sure this negates Bennett being a pretty big weak point so far in this game.

The refs are letting them play in the secondary. There is a ton of pass interference going both ways on every play.

The Bama pressure has definitely given him fits all game, but even though it was a free play that throw was a dime.

.-.
And now in crunch time Georgia’s OL starts to assert itself. Great clock-eating drive so far.

Disagree with the quality of the throw. I’m watching Skycam. Perfect spot.
I can see you disagreeing with the quality, but come on, perfect? It was clearly under thrown. The defender was directly in between the ball and the receiver. That’s not a perfect spot. That’s a super dangerous spot with a better corner and no free play.

Hate to admit it, but this has been a great NC game. It's everything that the ESPiN execs and the SEC could have asked for.

Blech.

Agreed. I’m pissed I’m enjoying it.

Going all out pressure isn't a bad thing, but if you have to account for anyone on Georgia, it better be Bowers. That kid is an incredibly talented tight end, maybe already as good as any in the country.

Great game. They can’t both lose, and UGA just sealed it Look at the personnel on these teams. I’m old. In the bad old days Georgia’s gov tried to prevent GTech from playing Pitt in a bowl game because Pitt has a black player. In the 60s George Wallace tried to prevent U of Alabama from racial integration. Some things have improved with time.

I get not liking these teams but as a football fan I don’t know why you wouldn’t wanna watch this game.
Because there is no entertainment value in watching the "championship“ game of a six-team league. Nothing in the realm of sports could be less appealing.

I'm not 100% sure what this means, but it's hard to argue about team diversity when AAC Cincy was part of the playoff. In a different universe that could have been UCONN as there was a time not long ago when we were Cincy's equal. They made some fantastic coaching hires and we chose an alternate path.

My comment was about the CG not the playoff. It means I was interested until Cincy and Michigan were out, though clearly they were just cannon fodder to create the facade of parity and fairness. The structure of the FBS system including the "playoff“ is so unbalanced it's laughable. Until the playoff is expanded to at least eight and preferably sixteen teams its a joke and just reinforces the overall structural flaws of FBS.

There's always entertainment value in watching high-level college football.

They need to go to the NFL rule where it's a spot foul. Way too advantageous to just tackle a receiver anytime you're beat
There is nothing I hate more that the NFL PI rule when a QB throws up a prayer and the WR stops to adjust, gets bumped by the DB and the offense gets the ball at the 1 yard line. I much prefer the college rule of 15 yards. I do see a reason to allow the spot foul if the PI is blatantly on purpose. I feel that the NFL rule is far too generous to the offense. The Bama DB was pretty smart. he knew he was beat and he knew the rules

Help me understand this. If Cindy and Mich were cannon fodder, how would adding more teams like them, or lower related than them, help balance in any way? Truly not understanding
