Alumni at this years Final Four

quote or no quote, the implication was that she "PLAYED" 5 years, when she didn't. In a era, because of the extra covid year, some players actually played for 5 years. Bueckers did not.
Nope. No implication there. Paige is in her fifth year at UConn. A fifth year student. Who happens to be a guard. In a perfect world of all this happening last year and no injuries, the reporter probably would have written either fourth year or senior year.

And Azzi will be in her 5th yr at UConn next season, but in terms of games played, she's barely played 2 seasons.

Swin works for the NBA team, the Pelicans, and they’re just about to head into the postseason. She’s probably busy
I was talking about Shea Ralph, not Swin Cash

the reference to 5 years I think is relevant since it's talking about her making 4 all-tourney teams at the final 4. to a casual reader, they would think UConn had been there 4 straight years. Mentioning the 5 I think cuts down on that confusion.

Sorry, I don't agree. In the covid era, you have players that have played 5 years, which Paige has not. Basketball wise she has played 4 years, and has been a student 5 years. She is not a 5 year player or guard.
Is Ice a 3 year player, or Jana a 2 year player? No.

I think both points are true. Paige only played four years, while UConn made the Final Four, four times over 5 years. The framing of the point is the challenge because people will interpret this differently no matter what's discussed here.
