Some odd comments from ND coming out of the presser. Will withhold judgement until I can read them in context.

So your team just beats the two-time defending national champion in Maya Moore's last collegiate game and your response is to open the door of the UConn locker room and yell that? Who does that? Bruiser, I guess.

I'm actually very shocked and embarrassed for ND and Bruiser if it did happen that way. Especially because in the handshake line BB hugged Moore and said something in her ear that by all accounts had to be positive because Moore's reaction was "thank you" seemed very genuine. Was particularly proud of her in that moment.

Is there anywhere to see the pressers?

I remember watching that moment between BB and Maya and I agree it is surprising to hear that she followed that moment with what's been described. There doesn't seem to be any doubt about which ND player did it, though. It's also not one of those moments that is open to interpretation.

it seems from the handshake, that Muffett didnt apologize. I know she didnt do anything wrong, but her player did.
If Muffett was good ... she wouldve apologized for the comment in front of the UCONN team ... and she wouldve gotten alot of respect.

She was also pretty curt with Lobo after the game.

I'm not condoning the comment, but if you think about it, Becca and ND must have lost at least 10 times in a row to UConn before that win. Must have been pretty frustrating. Doesn't justify the comment, by any means, just explains it (maybe)

Nah, there is never a good explanation for lack of class. Becca was a thug on the court, some of the most unnecessarily physical play I have ever seen. No surprise that she would resort to the cheap parting shot.

No. Winning after losing so often is reason to celebrate with great enthusiasm. Celebrating a big win doesn't require inclusion of the losing team. That incident was about trying to make the losing team feel worse about a painful loss.

did Q apologize?

good stuff... very detailed game story, record stats etc.

I'd say that picture solidifies my theory that Caroline is playing in her head.. I hope she pulls out of her "funk", if anyone deserves to succeed after all she's been through, it's her
