Sometimes its hard to pause and appreciate/take things in as they happen in life. We tend to live in the moment and thereby have short memory spans. But Ray Allen is the absolute best Uconn Husky to date. Very few players had his kind of skillset. Very few players are class personified. Very few players had his work ethic. Very few players ever starred in a 'successful' sports movie......let alone starring alongside Denzel.
I'm a lifelong Yankees fan and Derek Jeter always made me a proud fan because he was always 'class personified'. I've always felt the same about Ray Allen. Class.

Spoke to Ray at the dinner. Reminded him about his 3 year BE record of 49-5. He said he and Rudy Johnson were recently talking about that very thing. Remarkable achievement! Never won the Big one however because the NCAA put us in the West regional and to get to the FF we had to face UCLA in Cal.
