Hey all, I'm trying to put together a list of all UConn alumnae who were on national championship rosters in their respective final seasons of college. I'm enclosing what I have, but I'm certain I've forgotten some players. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My list:

Pam Webber
Rebecca Lobo
Page Sauer
Sue Bird
Swin Cash
Asjha Jones
Tamika Williams
Diana Taurasi
Maria Conlon
Renee Montgomery
Cassie Kerns
Tahirah Williams
Jacquie Fernandes
Kalana Greene
Tina Charles
Meghan Gardler
Kaili Mclaren
Heather Buck
Caroline Doty
Kelly Faris
Bria Hartley
Stefanie Dolson
Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis
Kiah Stokes

And let's hope Moriah Jefferson and Breanna Stewart will be added to that list in less than a year's time...

FYI... Not sure how you wanted to count injuries that resulted in red shirts but...

1995 - Webber, Lobo, Gelfenbein
2000 - Hansmeyer, Sauer, and did Ralph redshirt to come back?
2002 - Swin, Ashja, Sue, Tamika
2003 - No one
2004 - Dee, Morgan Valley, Maria (and then Ashley and Jess DID reshirt and graduated the following year)
2009 - Renee, Cassie, Tahirah
2010 - Tina, Kaili, Meghan, Jacquie, Kalana
2013 - Kelly, Caroline, Heather
2014 - Stef, Bria
2015 - Kiah, KML

In scanning this list I'm brought back to a name that's not there - Maya Moore. After Maya's final game, the FF loss to Notre Dame in 2011, I remember feeling a bit numb; I still remember the pain in her face and in her voice. I had never seen Maya look that way before or since, and of course I hope I never do again.

Going out on top, as all of the women above were able to do, is very special!

Indeed, the loss in the 2011 national semis was a huge gut puncher. In 1995, Rebecca Lobo summed up how great it was to go out a champion with people she loved, and given everything she did for the program, it's only appropriate that she got to feel how she did at the end. I remember how the TASS Force celebrated together in 2002, the joy on Kelly Faris's face in 2013, the emotions of Stef Dolson and Geno in 2014, and KML's quick seven points to seal the game with such a calm but happy demeanor during and after. All of those moments were fitting, among others...and nothing was more wrong than the way Maya went out guns blazing without the third championship to show for it.

It makes me happy to read the list I compiled and to see the 2-3 additions others promptly provided...but it pains me to feel the (factually correct) omission of Maya Moore.

I wouldn't count Shea since she played the next season.
