All time UConn team by state

No room in NY for a Poughkeepsie Popper?
Bill Corley NY avg 13.7rb & still holds 51pt single game record
National College Hall of Fame Tommy Penders from Stratford
Wasn't Boo Willingham also Georgia?
Tim Coles from MD? (Greatest overachiever of at least the 80's)
Phil Gamble (DC)
Wouldn't the Waterbury team also have Alvin Fredricks?
That Midwest Lakes team can add Lyman Depriest & Jeff King (Mich)
Add Daniel Hamilton to the CA team
John Thomas (Boogaloosa, La) to that team

ALL UCONN DUAL SPORT
Tommy Penders
Randy Lavigne
Scott Burrell
Tyler Olander
Brian Herosian (needed a fifth - football/baseball)
Forget Walt Dropo?

Nobody did Jersey yet? Our HC would be pissed.

RJ Cole
Tate George
Jalen Gaffney
Cam Spencer (SUNJ)
Adama Sanogo (HS)

Honorable mention
Andrew Bynum

Surprised we don't have more guys from there through the years but wasn't like our former HC was best buddies with the HC of the best program in the state...

Jimmy Foster from Hoboken

I’ll do an All-WNY team:
Rob Garrison
Antoine Anderson
Cliff Robinson
Amari DeBerry
Dan Cyrulik

LOADED.

PS I have a buddy who plays mens league in CT with Craig Austrie to this day, he’s a CT born guy, no? My buddy is not a CT native but knows I’m a Husky lifer so texted me about 4 years back with a pic of them together.

I wonder if there is any other fan base of a CBB that is so anxious for the new season to start, that they are finding anything to pass the time. This is a very interesting thread. It’s like a scavenger hunt you think you found everything then you realize oh yeah there is another one.

Just the thought that so many of us find this thread so intriguing is highly intriguing in its own right.

Alvin Frederick played at Mattatuck Community College (now Naugatuck Valley) in Waterbury but he was not from Waterbury.

Jersey:
RJ Cole
Tate George
Sanogo (sort of)

Jalen Adams might be the most talented of all of them...
That’s right smdh at forgetting him, I guess your HC is Jim Calhoun.

Easy Ed Slomcenski, Naugatuck

Washington State:
Donny Marshall
Doug Wrenn
Stew

Bristol. Clingan. Kuscenski. Pikell. Pikell. Also Laura Lishness
Add Andre Johnson and sorry but spelling for Steve and Tim Pikiell and Bruce Kuczenski. And Lishness was two years ahead of Kathy Farrier (C) at Bristol Eastern.

Louisiana

Kirk King, Eric Hayward and Cup Cormier

Oops. missed both LA mentions before mine.

Add Craig Austrie and Edmond Saunders and this CT team is surprisingly solid.

I know they all went to Holy Cross HS but not so sure Abro and Johnson grew up in Waterbury.
Abro was from a small town out by Litchfield. Drawing a blank on the name.

Surprised it took a full page for someone to insert Wes Bialosuknia into the NY lineup.

To add more spice... who would win an all NY - Uconn Team or an all NY - Syracuse team?

And BTW... Charlie would start over Andre or AJ.

Abromaitis definitely grew up in Waterbury. I'm pretty sure Johnson did, too. Johnson has a photography business in Waterbury and is regularly at UConn and Holy Cross games taking photos.
