I wonder if Chelsea Dungee will go on another twitter rant for being left off 1st team.

Doubt it. Last year she actually deserved it, this year not so much.

The Big 10 awards are out. Can't complain except for defensive player of the year. Blair Watson should have gotten it over Veronica Burton. Unfortunately for Blair, the stats are very slightly in Burton's favor for steals, blocks and rebounds.

2019-20 Big Ten Women's Basketball Honors Announced On BTN
Burton is a fantastic defensive player. I can't really fault that choice.

POY: Kathleen Doyle
FOY: Ashley Owusu
COY: Joe McKeown
SPOY: Leigha Brown

Interesting that Kaila Charles was the only Maryland player on first team, but Maryland had 5 players total between 2nd team and HM. Amazing to have 6 players take all-conference honors.

I called it a few weeks ago. Camyrn Brown of MY Panthers. One of the most exciting players to watch in all of Mid-Majors (no bias here)

Jaylyn Angew's 23.1 ppg is the highest scoring average in the Big East since Angel McCoughtry's 26.6 ppg in 2008-09. She also tied McCoughtry's Big East single-game scoring record with a 43-point performance against Georgetown. (I also distinctly recall Agnew torching West Virginia 34 points at the Cancún tournament.

Megan Duffy is very deserving as COY. I felt people underestimated Marquette's returning talent from last year's team (Lott, Van Kleunen and Spingola mainly), but she has impressively taken a team that finished 9th out of 10 teams in the BE preseason poll and led them to a solid 2nd-place finish and a sure NCAA bid.

How many other former national players of the week are in the MEAC?

I was gonna say at least 3 or 4, then I remembered who I was talking to... and you'd ask me to name them.... so.....

I'm not super familiar with the Big 12 as a whole but I'm kind of surprised Raegan Pebley didn't get Coach of the Year when her team was tabbed to finish 8th and finished 2nd in the league and with only one player on the First Team.
