Just saw GDL is back but at a new position. I think he's going to need a few years to learn all the nuances of the position.

He probably can get a medical redshirt due to the brain damage he suffered 2 years ago.

Well, at least if we get back Joseph, that would really solidify our defense this coming year. Of course, we'd like to get Jimmy back in order to continue some sort of growth for the offensive line. If we don't, then we'll have to live with what we have. I'm not even sure who Jimmy's understudy was at left tackle, and I'm pretty sure that most days on the depth chart, it was left blank...

Right but isn't he one of the players hit by the Canadian post-grad rule. Giving him 4 years to play three.

Can't be the case as 2012 was his 4th year and he never took a redshirt. If he only had 4 to play 3 he would have exhausted his eligibility at the end of 2011.
