Andrew Hurley back on the bench.. or behind the bench. Not sure where Grad Managers sit during games.

Not being ultra competitive myself, I can understand, I think, why some recruits are not chomping at the bit to subject themselves to this. This is not a criticism, it is a compliment to the championship culture Hurley and his staff promote. Amazing and frightful all at once

the small Gs not being great at defending ball screens and slow reactions from harris that were discussed in the coaches meeting would not bode well for our D

In my mind, Dan has high expectations for fans too. If we aren’t on our feet screaming at the game?… start running stairs. You got crutches, wheelchair, walker…. Not standing or yelling? Start running stairs. You’re a deaf/mute? Guess what?… Stairs! You passed out drunk on $2 Miller night? STAIRS! We have ZERO tolerance. Everyone is accountable.

Everything the coaches say in these videos is intentional, I wouldn't read into it. Last summer Hurley was "questioning" Castle's defense and then he was one of the best defenders to ever put on a UConn uniform

I was trying to find him talking skeptically about Castle d preseason but I couldn't find it. But I remember the same.

This is awesome. Better than any “inside access” thing I’ve seen. Usually you just get bs and cliches

This was roughly around this time last year when he did his preseason roster analysis

Stephon Castle, freshman guard:
“He’s physically so ready to play, but then there’s like these things that young players do that can make you lose – like they stare at the ball while their man cuts, or stare at a guy shoot the ball while they don’t block out and give up a putback, or not have two hands on the ball at all times, just like ball security and different things like that. But he’s so talented, he’s the most ready freshman that we’ve had and no one has played as well as he’s played this early in their career. And he brings with him a very high level of humility, and he’s a pleaser, like he gets sad when he’s doing bad for us. So he’s a special kid and I think he’s got the chance to have a spectacular freshman year.”

With the success of our program and the incredibly interesting character that Hurley is, they need to have a “Hard Knocks” documentary that follows the UConn Program on Netflix.

It would be one of the most popular streaming programs and would even further grow the legend of Dan Hurley and UConn basketball.

And Andrea Hurley would become a reality superstar!

Awhile back there was rumors of something like that. Guess it fell through.

I guess castle's problem was never the physical tools which are elite, but coachable stuff. the current batch of players may have some harder limits on that end. of course coaching can still improve things a great deal. the physical comparable to castle is abraham but he's prob not going to step into the same role on offense.

Abraham texting Hurley an apology after a bad practice is king . He's going to be the face of the team in 2 years.

Also, looking forward to the Serbian plays lol.
