I just feel for the guy as he constantly takes accountability for the rest of the team's issues. It is the role of the captain to do so but it's just all the time. Kinda depressing.

Yeah what a drag Karaban’s career must be. You just want a guy like this to experience some success for a change.
We should all be so bummed out!! There is some truth to FAN4LIFE's comment though. Hawaii last year it was painful to watch Alex try to shoulder that whole mess himself. He'll never be a Freshman again, but having that loose opportunistic mindset is his best look.

I'm not saying it's a total drag- you did. My point is he is always out in front saying it's on him - he's a helluva stand up guy!! More so than anyone I can remember. Just wish he wasn't always put in that position. Think of his career in terms of winning 2 nattys the first two years and then swimming against the tide his last two. That's a big burden and at times I think it's really weighed on his psyche.
