He's not perfect and he struggled a lot this year, but no one bleeds bluer than this kid. Remember how he graduated an early and came to school to practice with the team for a semester? No one worked harder or cared more. Rather than worry about what he was not, I'd rather celebrate what he is, a two-time national champion.

Not going to lie, I teared up watching this.

He definitely played his heart out. Too bad he couldn't have hit one more 3 in the game as we might of won.

This is my guy. I hope this thread grows and he somehow sees or at least feels it. In my opinion, this guy is the ultimate husky. I put nobody above AK, Samson and Hass. Nobody. I would give anything for him to come back next year.

I remember shortly after we beat SD St two years ago in an interview he said "I'm going to talk to Donovan anout a four year, Breanna Stewart deal". At the moment I selfishly (for AK) wish DC was talked into staying.

I know DC did the absolute right thing, All the best to AK with whatever his next step is.

The kid was clearly injured for much of the year. I really hope he runs it back one last time. All time great
I don't know about much of the year even though he got that concussion in Maui, but I always wondered if his ankle healed from the first Creighton game in Gampel when he turned it.

Alex decision to come to UConn may have been Dan's Chis Smith moment, local kid , Hurley hadn't really had outstanding success things were looking up . There was talk of Stanford and it is hard for me to imagine my kid passing on them. Hurley the recruiter convinced him and his family UConn would benefit him more . What was Alex 18, maybe 17 many wanted to play him mid year when he enrolled. Hurley and the staff put together great teams and that may not have happened without The Alex commitment. Remember he practiced with Akok C.V. The Wrench. Thank you Alex

Don't take it off. Come back next year, he has a career in professional basketball somewhere.

We have unfinished business and he could be a NCAA legend with 3 rings! Love AK-11, just daggers in the biggest moments over the last couple of years
