Definitely not the most aesthetically pleasing shot. Diagonal rotation and a low load, probably takes him a half second longer to get off which allows defenders to get there. Compare that to a Liam, who like Hawk, has a high, simple and quick release with perfect rotation.Agreed, to me this is/was the #1 thing he needs to correct for the NBA. Not exactly sure what it is about his form, but likely too much off hand involved. I fear Alex will always be streaky with the diagonal rotation.
Compare it to Hawk who is simply deadly when squared up and shooting success immediately translated to the deeper NBA 3, Hawk's form and rotation are near perfect.
AK has certainly mastered his form, but it’s definitely not the most efficient. When Alex is off, he has a tendency to miss badly.
