Congrats to Alex! I hope he can step it up as the leader of the team and bring us another amazing run in the NCAA.

Unfortunately it would be far too logical to count these grades towards the current APR instead of the ones from five years ago when there were a different set of rules in place.

Logic and the NCAA don't get along.

And as the rules currently stand, Alex Oriakhi's 3.6 GPA in the 2011 fall semester has absolutely zero relevance to the postseason eligibility of the 2013 team.

I have not keep been reading this apr bullshit, can you tell me why?

Taking Acct 200 my soph/jr year. Watched away G-town game at Ted's and stayed til last call. Next morning like a spoiled 20 year old, stumbled across campus to TLS bemoaning the indignity of a 9:30am class on Thursday. I walk in 5 minutes late and Rod Sellers was bright eyed sitting in the front row after carrying around Mourning/Mutombo for 40 minutes the night before in DC.

These guys do a lot more right than wrong.

Obviously he didn't take a class in boxing out. Just kidding! Nice to see our APR continues to improve as does Alex' play. Huge game tomorrow

That's an awesome job by Alex.

Getting a 3.6 isn't easy when your only job is to be a student. Playing Big East basketball too? Wow. Job well done.

That's a funny yet great post. Thanks for the laugh and the truth in the end!!
