I'd say they're all more than "adequate" shooters. Demary is very good and the other two are flamethrowers.
Demary and Smith are also elite of the elite off the catch. Our offense creates lots of those looks for the point after they start the set/give up the rock. I think we thought Mahaney would also benefit from this, but his wavering confidence was a death knell for his shot.

One of the things I truly love about this staff is they learn the lessons they should learn.
100%. That wasn’t always the case though.
I have said for a while, Danny’s ability to now admit mistakes and pivot from them is the catalyst of this amazing 3 going into 4 year run.

Yeah not sure where you’re getting 6’3”. Listed at 6’1” and the one video I saw of him, that looks generous. Looks about Hassan’s height, maybe a tad shorter. Think he has a pretty nice handle but is not considered a strong defensive player.
If he can move his feet laterally that would be a vast improvement to some of our players who get a lot of time. We have a great staff, the kid is smart, he can learn from our superior staff. He also has speed (see the other thread with long video) which we greatly lack. So having someone like him off the bench to speed it up in transition (like Joey C or Johnny Gwinn) is interesting. Trust the staff and don't write scripts for what they have to do. We have had a lot of small guards who can defend like Bazz, Boat and many others.

In that regard, Ball and Mullins will form a quartet of 3 pt specialists off the catch. Let's see if having a real point guard who can run the offense (Demary) can reprise the role of Shabazz Napier who let Kemba Walker become a creative scorer. I'm just saying, Solo is still carrying that water and chopping wood...

Demary — *127/158 — *80.4%

The statistic mentioned above is attributed to Blue Cain.
Good catch. I transcribed the wrong player. Thank you for the correction. Going to the line more frequently makes more sense as well. I'm glad the basic statistical concept is valid. He is a reliable foul shooter.

I know you're French, but don't retreat.

@Lafayette
Hahahaha - not French - "Lafayette" was our code name for "Lancaster" dorm and the name stuck here.

Besides, the French don't retreat...they just make a line (Maginot) others can go around.
