I’ve been to the last 3 Regionals and it’s varied as follows:
- 3 years ago in Albany, UConn played the 2nd game vs TX
- 2 years ago in Bridgeport, UConn played the 1st game vs MS St
- last year in Bridgeport, UConn played the 2nd game vs UCLA

In all instances, UConn was the overall #1 seed, so I think, which game UConn plays may depend on ESPN and tv ratings
