Akok Akok (foot sprain) was sporting a walking boot on Monday and hasn’t practiced since late last week. Hurley said the 6-foot-9 junior forward is “unlikely” to play on Tuesday.

Quite unfortunate for Akok. Poor guy can't shake the injury bug. I wish we could make the best of a bad situation and get some minutes for Springs out of this situation, but that horse has long since been beaten to death.

Tough injury both physically and mentally.
Rudy had the same injury in 2017 and he is still playing in his mid 30’s.
Maybe they should have a talk.

Whatever he was this year so far, I never remember him as a net negative in any game. He didn’t get much run, but he always seemed to make the most of his minutes.

Best personality on the team too. Kid is a fantastic person.

He’s gotten lost on defense pretty badly a couple times but otherwise yeah he hasn’t played enough minutes lately to stand out one way or the other

General question: is the boot on the same foot/ankle he injured his Achilles? Very, very bad sign if so.

It's hard to tell but it looks like that might be the boot on his left foot here. If that's the case it is the same as his Achilles
