Gonzaga also has a geographical advantage as they are really only competing against a few PAC-12 teams for top talent that wants to stay on the west coast. UConn’s recruiting battles encompass the BE, ACC, and to some extent the B1G.

Wish we would take the time to recruit internationally again. We have trouble landing bigs domestically because we have a reputation as a guard school. International pool is huge and is saturated with quality bigs. Zaga has so many good international bigs they can’t find time to play them all.
