I cannot even pick another one just like him from college, let alone 100.
Major salute to another 4-year veteran Captain America! Your legacy is written!
Bazz is my sole favorite player but now I have two!

Alex has changed his game. Early he deferred to get teammates involved now he is driving aggressively to the rim more and fighting for putbacks. The other thing I noticed is that his shot is not as flat. He’s getting more air under it.
Let’s face it, he’s a coach on the floor and we will need everything he has on Friday.

AK immediately going to Braylon after one of his turnovers, when BM’s body language was starting to look dejected, was one of those key things that doesn’t show up in the box score but we will need to really work hard to replace next year. AK really helped settle Mullins down in the moment it looked like.

Alex was a man possessed. I think some of his disappearing in games is him leading by being an unselfish team player. Yesterday he just said, ok boys let me show how it’s done.

I think he's also been banged up more than a lot of people think. He wouldn't through a stretch wear my dad and I were joking where his new bruise was going to be. But, he'll never use an excuse. If he's hurt, he's not the type to let people know.

I loved his leadership last night when he went over to tell Mullins to calm down.

Alex definitely led the charge last night, we don't win that game without him scoring points when we needed them to change the tempo. I thought Malachi had a great game too, 33 minutes, very ball dominant, only two turnovers while facing serious defensive guard pressure from UCLA, and playing tough D himself.

We may not have won that game if Alex only scored his average. It certainly would've been a lot closer. His leadership, especially in supporting Braylon, helped the kid not dwell on his mistakes and we needed Braylon's points as well.

Great to see him assertive - will need it. That offensive rebound sequence with the put back was symbolic.

Article from CBS Sports: NCAA Tournament All-First Weekend Teams. Karaban on the first team. And RuffRuff still thinks he's a JAG.

Alex Karaban, UConn: Karaban scored a career-high 27 points on 9-of-16 shooting in UConn's second-round win over UCLA. That followed a 22-point showing in the Huskies' win over Furman. Karaban is an NCAA Tournament veteran, and he's playing his best basketball at the right time as UConn prepares for a Sweet 16 showdown with Michigan State.

It is Captain Connecticut and not Captain America.

He's showed out - love it. Needed him to, and ecstatic that he did. Need that in a few more games, old reliable has to be there for the pups as the other parts aren't quite as. Him & Tarris need to lead the way.

Obviously, I want the team to win because… I want the team to win, but would really love for AK to go out yet another national championship.

Future Hurley successor?

This is the stuff you don't get awards for but is just as important as that last rebound. And he does stuff like this every game.
